Explain yourself, Mr. Dunphy

Very simple. I have a blog called the Ravine. Due to the nature of the subject matter of the blog - ethics and skepticism, mainly - blog commenting will be an important part of what I do. But comments left on other people's blogs are left to the mercy of others, which is not a good thing to do with a key part of one's content. So, I back them up here, and on my own hard disk, of course.

If a comment of mine is unreasonably deleted elsewhere, or vanishes along with the blog, it will live on, here. So, yes, this is a mirror. Or my profiles on those services are, collectively, depending on how you look at things.
